Discovering the Power of God’s Grace Through Weakness

We live in a world that values strength, success, and power. We are taught to be independent, self-sufficient, and to never show our weaknesses. Through social media and media we are shown only the best of the best or the worst of the worst and subconsciously struggle with only allowing our strengths to be seen, and hide our weaknesses out of fear.

We may feel inadequate, broken, or even not good enough, but one of the biggest blessings of being a child of God is He uses OUR weaknesses to reveal HIS strength. When we surrender our weaknesses to Him, He will work in and through us in ways we never thought possible. We don’t have to have it all together, for God’s grace is sufficient for us.

It’s easy to hide our weaknesses, but God wants to use them so we can experience the full power of God. Our weaknesses we surrender to Him become opportunities for God to shine in our lives and to others..

As we rely on God’s grace, we can experience His power with a greater understanding of His love for us. Allowing us to let go of our need for control and trust in God.

For God reminds us that His power is made perfect in our weakness. We can grow stronger through our weaknesses when we rely on His grace.  “But he said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.’” – 2 Corinthians 12:9
